Psychotherapist
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate
From the outside, it looks like you’re holding it all together. On the inside, you’re exhausted.
If you’re constantly carrying the weight of work, family, relationships, or caregiving, you may feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or like you’re running on empty. Maybe you’ve been holding everything together for so long that you’ve lost sight of who you are.
You don’t have to keep living in survival mode.
Maybe you’re tired of overthinking everything or feeling on edge or stuck in patterns that leave you feeling frustrated and disconnected. You might be navigating anxiety, stress, painful experiences from your past, relationship struggles, or a season of change. In therapy, we’ll make sense of what’s weighing you down, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, and help you move toward a life that feels lighter and more meaningful.
Together, we’ll focus on the goals that matter most to you, whether that’s building confidence, setting boundaries you can stick to, managing difficult emotions, strengthening relationships, or reconnecting with the person you want to be. As healing happens, many of my clients begin to feel more hopeful, more grounded, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges without losing themselves in the process.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a therapist who helps them feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative because there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing.
Therapy isn’t just about getting through today. I want to help you create lasting change. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, uncover what’s been holding you back, and help you create a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and true to who you are.
Professional Background…
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked in healthcare and behavioral health, helping adolescents, adults, and families navigate some of life’s most difficult seasons. I’ve supported individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, overwhelming stress, and major life changes, including survivors of human trafficking and those healing from complex trauma.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Service/Management from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Social Work degree from Johnson C. Smith University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina.
Personally…
I’m a proud mother of three adult children and grandmother to one very spoiled grandpup. I love being outdoors, especially nature walks and anything that allows me to slow down and reconnect. Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies. I love long scenic drives in the fall, which I find peaceful and grounding.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I value faith, family, and continued growth. I enjoy learning, reflecting, and spending time with my loved ones. I believe in resilience, restoration, and the ability to rebuild even after difficult seasons.
Let’s connect. If you are ready to take the next step toward healing, I would be honored to support you.
