We should always be aspiring to know more, and to better ourselves, and to improve ourselves…that’s how we improve the world around us, by working within us.

MEET RAYNE

RAYNE TURNAGE, LCSWA
Psychotherapist
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stressed, misunderstood, or like everyday life is harder than it should be, you’re not alone.

Navigating teen life and young adulthood can be hard. You may feel anxious, sad, emotionally exhausted, or like your feelings are hard to manage. Past experiences, ongoing stress, life changes, overthinking, or self-doubt may be weighing on you and affecting how you show up day to day.

These experiences are more common than we realize, and can leave you feeling mentally drained, disconnected, or unsure of yourself.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy offers a space to pause, release, and begin again.

Working with me, you’ll have dedicated time to process your thoughts, gain more control over your emotions, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward the goals that matter most to you. Together, we can focus on building healthier coping skills, increasing self-esteem, managing anxiety and depression, improving communication, and breaking patterns that no longer serve you.

Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistency, support, and intentional effort, growth is absolutely possible.

I am passionate about helping teens and adults figure out life in a way that feels right for them. I listen with care, build trust, and support them as they begin making changes that last.

My counseling style is rooted in empathy and collaboration and uses techniques that are backed by evidence. You are the focus and sessions are tailored to your specific needs.

Professional Background…
Over the years I have supported youth, adults, and families through emotional, behavioral, and life stressors. Through school-based and outpatient settings, my experience includes anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation challenges, communication styles, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns.

I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Morgan State University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate.

Personally…
Outside of therapy, I enjoy roller skating, traveling, watching a good TV show, and spending time with my community. My faith is an important part of my journey, and I value time spent grounded and guided by God.
