Do you notice shifts happening in your life? On any given day, do you feel lonely, confused, anxious or depressed, tired or exhausted?

I understand. Navigating the challenges of life, relationships, work, or school can be tough.

It can be overwhelming to think of where to start when we feel like all the things we’ve tried just aren’t working anymore. You may begin questioning yourself or wondering how to navigate life’s changes or your relationships.

You are not alone. I am here to help you through.

You’ve taken the first step by being here in this very moment. It’s not easy, but you’re doing it.

I support people that come from a range of backgrounds, while embracing every identity they bring into the counseling space. I understand these differences shape experiences, so it’s important to me to build genuine relationships with my clients that allows you to be you. When working with me, people understand themselves better, and their relationships with others and with the world.

Professionally

I attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Human Development and Family Studies and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in couples and family counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate.

I’ve supported children, adults, and couples navigating trauma, time management, anxiety, depression, communication challenges, and conflict.

My counseling style is holistic and focuses on the specific needs of each person, as we all bring different parts of ourselves into our relationships.

With my own cultural and religious backgrounds I have had to learn how to navigate life in a way that best fits me. My growth and healing helps me understand and respect differences in cultures, spirituality, sexuality, gender, and walks of life. It is important to me that the identities you hold are honored in this space as we work together.

Personally

I consider myself an amateur culinary enthusiast and have always had a love for cooking and baking. I would say my friends and family enjoy this as much as I do, since I’m usually the one hosting the gatherings! I’m always down for an adventure or exploring new places/things. In my free time, I also tap into my inner Kahlo, Monet and Bob Ross, as I love all things art. Who doesn’t love “happy clouds” right?!

Let’s connect! I am passionate about helping people heal through some of life’s tough experiences.
