A Swedish massage is considered an important part of stress relief. This is particularly applicable for relaxation of the entire body. Stress can cause muscle soreness, but a Swedish massage can relax the muscles and reduce pain. A Swedish massage uses strokes that promotes better blood circulation, reduces pressure and discomfort in the body.

Hot Stone massage, the ultimate in relaxation, has been used for thousands of years for harmonizing, cleansing and relaxing the body at its deepest level. The basalt lava stones from deep within the earth are rich in minerals and can be heated for use in deep relaxation massage. They may be placed on specific energy points to help relax and dissolve stress, drawing hyper energy from over stimulated areas and bringing new energy to depleted zones.

The deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper muscle layers and connective tissue. It is especially recommended for chronic aches or stiffness as a method to diminish adhesion for increased range of motion and circulation.
