Charlotte Yoga, Yoga Classes in Charlotte, NCDo you want to improve how you physically feel? Or improve your mental focus and take time to concentrate on you?

Yoga is a restorative practice for the mind and body. It promotes mindfulness, or your ability to focus your attention on the present moment. Incorporating yoga into your routine can help enhance your health, increase strength, and reduce stress.

The art of yoga is one of reconnecting to our innermost being, the part of us that is timeless, changeless.  We forget how amazing we are as human beings because we get caught up in the doings of life.

Yoga is derived from the word yoke, which means to bind or bring into unison. So, as we practice yoga, we are bringing our physical body, mind, and soul together.  If you think about it, anytime your physical body is tight or tense, it starts to manifest in the mind. The same is true for mental tension showing up as physical pain, which can eventually lead to long standing discomfort and a feeling of depletion.

Yoga has been around for thousands of years and stands the test of time as a practice accessible to those of all walks of life.

Why Yoga with Isaiah Counseling & Wellness? It’s simple, we are not a yoga studio. We offer more intimate, specialized yoga groups at various times throughout the year to help support anxiety, depression, healthy relationships, or other personal goals.

We want you to be well. Check back for any upcoming groups or contact us if you have a group that you’d like to coordinate a yoga experience for.
